Their as yet un-named four-day-old baby girl was born with two faces, two mouths and four eyes in the rural Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh, 50km north east of New Delhi. Villages come to pay their respects to the newborn ‘goddess’

Excited villagers claim she is the reincarnation of the Indian God Ganesha and celebrated her arrival with clapping, cheering and offerings of gifts and money. ‘ME’ is a total idiot, who clearly can’t see beyond his/her nose.
Why bring idols into this,India is not the only place where kids are born this way. This innocent little child should be your concern,so stop judging people and their customs.

  9. Posted April 16, 2008 at 8:30 AM

YEAH, I HAVE BEEN WRITTING STORIES ON CONJOINED TWINS AND THIS TWO FACE OF A THING IS SOMETHING ELSE, IT IS TOTALLY WONDERFUL BABY GIRL. PEOPLE OF HER VILLAGE CALLED HER “REINCARNATION OF INDIA GOD” AT THIS CIVILISED AGE! WHAT A SHAME. THERE WAS A WOMAN DELIEVERED HALF CHILD AND HALF ANIMAL IN NIGERIA BUT, BURIED ALIVE IN THE BUSH IMMEDIATELLY ITS ARRIVAL. IT IS REAL TWO FACE.

Totally agree with what rupa said about ‘ME’- who does ‘ME’ think he/she is, to believe that he/she knows which entities are false and which are true? /talk about self centered….

anyways, coming back to this story, i dont think that this baby should be treated any different than any other babies.
i think all babies are miracles and i dont mean to sound anti-religious but i think its this kind of partiality and favoritism towards people (ie. saying that this child has more human worth than other children) that sparks hatred and bigotry and even racism towards the “lesser” people in our society.

I think its just a superstitious belief and that the baby suffers from disorder and will have a difficult life ahead if not taken proper care now

this is not a miracle.its totally medical disorder.the child’s parent should check their child as soon as possible.

this child needs surgury before she matures and develops a real sense of herself. the child with many arms and legs was given treatment and has a real shot at a normal life. dont let ignorance destroy this childs chance at the same.

It’s truly remarkable what nature can throw at society. The only trouble that seems to come up with children like this is when the families see that godly status and do not seek medical help for their children. It’s good to see that the family has made the right choice and that the doctors are looking for future issues.

god knws better… its true that india is not the only place babies r bone this way.. n i agree there is only one GOD. anyways, the child needs good care… n parents must be ready to face anyhting that may happen as they grow older..may god bless her.

you people should not speak if you are ignorant to india, its customs and the culture itself. you should educate yourself before suggesting she get treatments. such a westernized point of view.
