In Chile the swimming pool largest in the world is built. Located in 100 km to the West of Santiago at the health resort San Alphonse Dale fogs (San Alfonso del Mar resort), pond was lengthened into the length by 1 km, covering area into 8 hectares. In order to fill it necessary 2,5 million liters of water, which is reached from Pacific Ocean.
The Guinness book of records already recognized this gigantic construction as the largest pond in the world . The building of unit managed into 1,5 billion dollars. The solution to build pond was accepted in connection with the pollution of ocean and large quantity of sharks in it was coast.
